Seasonal peaks are no match

Ardenta continues to enhance its platform and services following significant expansion by announcing partnership with f5.

In the countdown to the biggest racing event of the calendar, networks have already received their final touch to prepare for extreme peaks in traffic and activity. Ardenta’s partnership with f5 puts our client networks in a great position. Ardenta’s long-standing relationship with security vendor f5 is known in the industry.* However, the new partner status with f5 means that we can now extend network security and threat mitigation services to both on-premise and hosted clients. We bring leading-edge security technologies directly to our clients whose infrastructures demand extremes of security and scalability; to prepare for known as well as unknown threats and be ready to handle seasonal peaks of traffic.

‘We are the first to test new technologies that will benefit our clients, and are focused on speeding up time to market, through orchestration and through low-touch provisioning tools. We are connecting the cloud services our customers are using for added speed and performance’, comments Scott Hanson, technical director at Ardenta. He goes on to outline: ‘Our engagement with f5 will ensure that our clients’ cloud strategy and governance delivers all the benefits of the cloud, and means that the issue of event preparation and future-proofing infrastructures are no longer a worry in a rapidly evolving market.’

When Ardenta implemented f5 security technologies in 2013, it was in response to the increasing demand for cloud services from its customers. The implementation of F5 BIG-IP Application Delivery Controllers in the data centres meant that all customers’ internet traffic, data and applications could be kept entirely separate. Additionally, the solutions ensured load balancing, monitoring, application security and traffic management, and continue to do so. This is the backbone of our high security infrastructure and network performance.

Since then, our multi-tenanted high performance network has grown even further. Through the variety of private cloud projects now delivered, providing a range of network solutions directly to clients has become a priority.

With the emergence of new and diverse forms of betting emerging, the speed and ease at which clients can go to market on their next launch makes a huge difference to the success of the product, but also to the operator’s reputation as a leading innovator in the sector. Together, Ardenta and f5 can ensure that enterprise network security is cost effective even at extreme and seasonally varying scales, and that the decision to upgrade IT continues to drive tangible business benefits of speed, performance, cost savings, speed-to-market and resilience.
