ISO/IEC 27001 certified

Ardenta is proud to announce its achievement of ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for Information Security Management. By achieving the internationally recognised ISO/IEC 27001 certification, Ardenta has demonstrated its commitment to Information Security Management, and signalled the further strengthening of its credentials as a managed service provider. Adding this accreditation to the credentials, along with the ISO/IEC 20000 achievement of last year, shows operators as well as industry regulators Ardenta’s commitment to continuous improvement in Information Security standards. This commitment is in direct response to our customers’ needs of protecting themselves in an evolving threat landscape.

ISO/IEC 27001 is an internationally recognised information security management standard which ensures organisations can apply a framework to business processes to help identify, manage and reduce risks to information security, and considers not only IT but all business operations. ISO27001 certification achievement demonstrates an organisation’s ability to meet compliance requirements, which in turn increases external and internal customer satisfaction. Whereas in the past, accreditation levels were required of suppliers to the enterprise market; the same assurances are increasingly sought by organisations of any size, in an effort to manage risk within the business and secure the information it relies on to perform.

‘This is a strategic attainment for us. Ultimately, we want to continuously improve the services we offer to our customers, and are proud to be able to add to our accreditations, proving our readiness to meet our customers’ compliance requirements,’ says Scott Hanson, Technical Director of Ardenta.

‘We work continuously to ensure that we not only meet, but exceed the requirements of a growing organisation serving a demanding industry. We have a huge appetite for ensuring that our customers receive the benefit of rigorous yet swift business processes and robust security systems. This is a major step forward in Ardenta demonstrating its commitment to Information Security Management and will positively help in co-operating with our customers’ compliance requirements,’ he adds.

With ISO 270001 certification and the clear competitive advantage it brings, the company looks forward to discovering the other advantages that are enjoyed as a certified organisation. With the framework in place to meet the requirements, Ardenta finds a path to continuous operational improvements for the benefit of its customers; a path which will enable the company to widen its services portfolio and customer base.
