By implementing array-based replication, it is possible to provide highly available data protection across multiple sites, using mirroring and snapshot tools to maintain a mirror image of data from a live site on a remote site and to create snapshots and clones of data to minimise the impact of management tasks on production data.

Ardenta has expertise in deploying EMC's MirrorView and SnapView tools as part of a CLARiion-based SAN design, and can help clients to:

  • Record transaction records from a live server to both source and remote arrays simultaneously using synchronous mirroring
  • Use asynchronous mirroring to allow consolidation of data to one central site, in order to centralise remote processes such as backups
